The niners are going to win the division and the wildcard game. I am seeing a 10-6 season with a tiebreaker with Seattle going to SF. Now that they have Joe Staley blocking and Willis on Defense as well not to mention probably the 2nd best CB combo or Clements and Harris (Only beaten by Bly and Baily), it is going to be even better. The question is will #2 reciever be Battle or Lelie? I think they are only a nose tackle away from taking the next step. So they should go for Tank Johnson while he still comes cheap.

I like their team and expect them to be the sleeper team of the NFC this year. I think if Alex Smith proves he has matured and the new recievers helped, then he could lead this team to a 10-6, 11-5 record and possibly beat Seatle for the division. That is my prediction.

9-7 may just miss playoffs, could possibly go 10-6. They have a better than fair chance 2 win NFC West, Seattle, ST Louis and New Orleans probably won't b as good as last season.

They will go 11-5 and win the NFC West. But I think New Orleans will stop them from going to the Super Bowl though!

7-9 Alex Smith is alright, but you have to take into the account a quarterback is only as good as the receivers he is throwing to. Only two names stick out. Darrell Jackson and Vernon Davis. Frank Gore is on the shelf. Tough year indeed.

They will suck. At best Nolan is an 8-8 coach. ownership still sucks and Alex Smith is a below average(although highly paid) QB.
