I'm turning 12 very soon and I have had vaginal discharge since last year. Will I get my period soon?

No one can predict it. You will get it when your body is ready. Generally girls have discharge for at least a year before they get their period.

That's perfectly normal! Since you are about twelve, and you have discharge, you will probably get it within the next year. But every girl is different! I had been getting discharge since I was ten, but I got my period on my 12th bday, what a great present, lol! Just carry around a pad in your purse, or backpack and some fresh undies, just in case! Good luck and don't be worried!! If you are though, you should talk to your mom, dad, or gaurdian :)) --- oh and do not listen to anyone that tells you that 12 is late for girls to get their periods! that's perfect age! some girls don't get it until 16! and that one person who said that you might get breast cancer earlier?? that isn't true and i don't see where they got that from??

You should probably be getting it within a couple of months or less. Some girls will have vaginal discharge for a year or more, while some only have it for two or three months. It just depends on your body. But expect it pretty soon. Good Luck.

Yes if you start developing underarm hair, breasts develop, or discharge are all signs of your period. It doesn't mean exactly but I think maybe in a few months - a year. But don't rush it because it sucks!

don't worry about it i'm going to turn 15 and i had my first period at 13 so be patient cause i was just like u wanting to have my period but trust be once u have it u'll want it to go away

HEY I'L B TURNING 12 NEXT MONTH!!! BUT I GOT MY PERIOD WHEN I WAS 9 LOL! ACTUALLY THIS MONTH IT WAS 5 DAYS L8 AND I WAS LIKE, BOO YA !!! erm...you have a bit late period. for girls 12 years old is a bit late. maybe you have chances to get breast cancer earlier..
