Other than that there is the 20 week scan. No wives tale will ever give you a 100% answer.

I've heard one method where you get a ring and place it on a piece of string, if it swings back & forth it is a boy & in a circle if it's a girl. It might be an old wives tale but still it's worth a try. Congrats on being pregnant by the way.

If you mean, how to choose the sex of your baby, there are a few books that you can buy on Amazon. They have names like "how to choose the sex of your child"
They have to do with what the mother eats while trying to conceive. The premise is something like, certain amino acids in the mother's body will attract male or female sperm.
I read the book. but I have no idea if it works

The only way you will know is with the ultra sound, all the other "old wives tales" don't work. With my first, according to all the old wives tales i was haing a boy, but i had a girl, and with my second a girl and ys i had a boy!!!!!!!!
The doctors can tell after 5 months!
