How do you know it's true? Wasn't it a novel? Would a military women really put up with chronic rape?? I doubt it. I think most men in the military are more honorable and decent than self-centered kids who never have to measure up to anything important. If life in the military were as bad as that story suggests, we'd have heard a lot more about it by now. Don't forget that there are not just women soldiers, but women officers, who won't tolerate that kind of behavior. Tell yourself it's just a bad story, and move on and forget about it, like you'd forget a lousy horror movie.
I don't think there's anything wrong with reading erotic stories, but remember, they're fantasies, and most aren't aimed at women or written by women. I think women would write much different stories then men do. Maybe you're reading the wrong kinds.
If you're obsessed with reading about sex, try writing some! Just for yourself, maybe. It might help you express and understand your desires without having to act them out in real life. It might be fun to try.

The one good thing about this latest story is that it may be the key to helping you stop your obsession. Next time you are tempted to read porn, you will think of this story and be repulsed to continue.
If you can't stop on your own, get help. There is no shame in going to a psychologist to help you with this. You had the courage to take the first step and ask for help. You can stop this obsession if you use that courage to get someone trained to help people who have this problem.
Best of luck to you on your journey toward healing.

So, stop reading the stories like that? Nothing wrong with reading erotic stories but they are usually categorized. Just stay away from the sections that you find disturbing.

You feel guilty, because porn is wrong. No matter what the rest of them say, it is wrong. All you can do is stop looking at it today, because you can't change the past. Find something else to do, every time you are tempted to look. Do something for someone else, not expecting anything in return.

sorry you're having a difficult time.
bad things happen all over the world every day.
i guess sometimes curiousity gets the best of us..... i know some of the erotic stories are fun, but when it comes to sick ones, we DO become disgusted and turned off.
try to move forward, and perhaps focus on other things which you enjoy.... hugs

You should be more worried about your addiction to porn. It is a weakness. The more you look at it, the more outrageous things you will need to look at the get aroused. Decide that this is something you don't need in your life and stop looking for it.

There is an old saying my dad says still, garbage in, garbage out. Protect yourself from revulsion by making sure that what you put into your brain is decent and good for others and for yourself.
