The word quite is not in my vocabulary but unless the people there stand up for themselves it will not be easy if not impossible. I want us to win and we could but I'll take what I can get. We will be there for sometime know matter who gets into the White House. Peace

You forgot that the conflict in Iraq is rather making the U. S. a extra secure place. Oh ... I forgot, The Council on foreign places family members says that Iraq is "a education and finding out floor for brand spanking new jihadi approaches". Oh I additionally forgot former Director of the CIA, Porter Goss testified beforehand the Senate Armed centers Committee that “Islamic extremists are exploiting the Iraqi conflict to recruit new anti-U.S. jihadists.” Gee did no longer see that coming, who would have envisioned that? Iraq is a commonplace mess and that i hit upon it very complicated as to why a definite portion of the U. S. public won't be able to admit that. exceedingly annoying to have a sensible communicate with somebody who can seem on the events in Iraq and have faith themselves whilst they are asserting that issues in Iraq are turning out to be better. The lives, the funds, the international acceptance of the u . s . a ., that's all being wasted. Iraq is merely no longer properly worth it. You tried to make it a extra powerful place, they are no longer fascinated, time to bypass. there is thousands of alternative places interior the international that would welcome your efforts and your extra beneficial than 8 billion funds an afternoon. it quite is a tragic time.

What difference does it make? No one has yet defined win. Does the Iraqi government have to be able to handle things by themselves? If so we will be there for decades. They have told us we can leave so lets leave. How many more billions of dollars do we have to spend and how many more lives must be lost for another country?
While Saddam was a horrible dictator he did offer a degree of balance and security in the region. He had nothing to do with 9/11 and it is proven time and again that the WMDs he had were virtually destroyed with Bush 41's gulf war kicking him out of Kuwait.
Why is it important we win anyway. We went there to get rid of Saddam, mission accomplished. Saddam and his brats are dead. We went to get rid of non-existant WMDs and that was accomplished before we got there. In the Bush 41 gulf war we had the blessings of most of the world including Arab countries. In this mess we have no such support. We barely have the support of the UK and some of our truest allies and even they are talking about pulling out.
Compare it to a prize fight. The champ has won through a TKO. His hand has been raised by the referee yet he still wants to fight his vanquished opponent, why? He pulverized the guy already. It is the opponent's responsibility to clean himself up, heal his wounds and move on. The champ doesn't have an obligation to do anything for his opponent.

We have already lost in Iraq, if we pull out today or in two years. You can not support a government or people that do not want you there. We have to win the war, the Iraqi insurgents only have to hold out and inflict the maximum amount of American KIAs, Bush let this war slip away and if he dose not put enough boots on the ground in Afghanistan ,we are going to lose that one too.

To get the right answer you have to ask the right question. Fighting to win what? To dominate the middle east with American firepower? To win the right to stay in the middle east forever using local thugs to keep their people in line? To give up our republic and become real imperialists? Another good question to ask is does driving up and down the roads of Iraq in Humvees and 70 ton tanks really 'fight' terrorism? Does protecting the Vichy Iraq government by keeping them deep inside Fort Green Zone equal political freedom for the Iraqi population? Do you think the people of the middle east are ever going to become 'Americans'? It's not a question of if we should 'lose', it's a question of what is it to 'win'.

The only terrorist act committed upon the American people is by the U.S. Govt. that enlisted the aid of the House of Saud to perpetrate a so-called act of '"terrorism."
In response our troops are over-extended overseas while a real TERRORIST ACT goes on unabated everyday and that is the invasion of the HORDE, 45 milllion illegal immigrants that enter freely into our country unchecked.
Seems our troops should be stationed on our border but the fake *** War On Terror has conveiniently despensed our troops into foreign lands to serve as pretext for the Govt not being able to place them properly on our border. Neat how that all works out huh?
Homeland Security, a Soviet Union ideology, is an apparatus to conduct espionage upon American citizens who may actually entertain revolt. THat is the purpose of Homeland Security.
While you drivel foolish questions every day 24 x 7 our Nation is being invaded.
Let me ask: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT AMERICANS DYING OVERSEAS FOR A SHAM CAUSE TO NEVER RETURN HOME WHILE 45 MILLION ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SUCK DRY THE RESOURCES OF THIS NATION WITHOUT SERVING??????
Kinda makes you look stupid to fall for the media propaganda, yes?
Stop being an *** and see what is really happening.
And the upshot is the Govt crafted this crap so as to be able to plead "over-extended," on the fake War on Terror while the real terror is the dismantling of our country right before our eyes as 45 million illegal bums cross over into our land and by the way they dont have to go overseas and fight, STUPID comes to mind here.
SEnd those 45 million over there. You wanna be an American then serve! But nope your sons and daughters are dying for the privilege of having your country sold out from under you as megalomanic jackassess posing as politicians and corporate elitists reshape the world at the expense of your sons and daughters which tells me the Govt thinks of you as garbage.
If our schmuck troops had a brain they would come back home and establish border security and hold the govt under arrest for high treason and hang the lot.

The terrorist organizations AREN'T IN IRAQ--and never have been. We invaded a country that hadn't attacked us and was not a threat. And the people of Iraq are fighting us to get their country back.
We need to get out of Iraq and go fight our real enemies--instead of doing what Bush and the neocons are doing--giving them sanctuary in Pakistan to build their resources and organization.
And quit trying to force our notion of a wahy of life on the Iraqis. That's exactly what the neocons say the terrorists want to do--force their way of life on us. The neocons and Bush are thus no different tan the terrorists.

We need to fight to win. If we allow our troops to come home defeated then the ones who have lost their lives will have truly died for no reason. If we remove our troops it should be because we are going to turn that sandpit into one big sheet of glass.

Lose the fight against terrorism?
Wow.
This should be a lesson on how to post a question that isn't really a question, but rather,a statement of one's views.

terrorism is not bound in the borders of iraq, so staying in iraq will not beat terrorism.
considering that the axis of evil spans beyond just iraq? you can't beat terrorism in one country and expect it to be gone.
