Think about it. We have a Sino (China)-Japan ruled Asia, and an EU and an energy superpower Russia. While this is good in terms of trade and wealth. Doint you think it will make future warfare much more costly? Consider WW2 was simply Japan and Germany at most. Two not necessarily large nations. If it goes up with continental unions EU, China, Russia we can expect a war that not costs millions of lives but will reach hundreds of millions or billions. Even from an economic perspective, you would crush entire continents. If you broke China today, it would take all of Asia with it. If the US broke for sure both N and S America would collapse! Does this not scare anyone?

i think you are looking at things from a WW2 perspective. i cannot imagine a scenario with a truely global war. with the collapse of the soviet union, the threat of a wide spread european war went away. north korea could launch nukes at japan maybe and that would be a mess. and sometime in the future china will have to have a conflict with someone, (maybe internally), but none of those go world wide. almost any other scenario is a regional conflict....

hopefully, globalization brings prosperity with less stuff to fight about. also prosperity makes it harder to go to war because you have more to lose.

i think the bigger challenges of globaliztion are of the economic variety as all the markets are tied together a lot more tightly. that and how the world will deal with dwindling oil reserves, especially that oil ****, china. stay tuned on that one!

we can be based on the united kingdom, Japan, and Canada to guard us with the aid of fact we are dying as a rustic and could now no longer have the skill to help ourselves interior the destiny. All we do now could be spend money we don't have on issues we don't choose. human beings do no longer invent or produce something anymore.

Anything is possible. But, what are you going to do? I say, let it rip. So be it. I'm not scared of something currently in our imagination.
