I never a goldfish in my life, never will. That would be illegal in every state but one... guess which one.

I always feed my fish smaller meals twice a day as it helps the food go down without causing digestion problems.
If you have fancy goldfish it is most important they do not get fed one large meal a day instead of two smaller ones.
Feed as much as they will eat within about 1-2 mins. If you find alot falling to the bottom or floating at the top that is not being eaten reduce the amount.
It is better to have a hungry fish that will hunt around for leftovers.
It will be a little trial and error before you decide what your fish like to eat and how much, go by the experience you gain.

Im guessing you mean feed the goldfish, and i feed mine 4 flakes of food in the morning and at night, but that depends on the size of your goldfish, mine is a pretty big oranda goldfish, if it is a smaller goldfish, feed it 2 to 3 flakes in the morning and at night

Inserting what I think is the most obvious question, you "feed" a goldfish once a day.

I feed my goldfish twice a day, two smaller meals. I do it in the morning when I first wake up and at night, when I go to bed. I also have a light on my fish tank, and I turn that on at the first feeding and off at the night one.

i beleive he meansfeed.
you generally feed goldfish and other fish once aday. Too much and too many meals will make the fish fat which can lead to bowel problems.

Do you mean feed??? 2 times a day. Breakfast and dinner. you give them as mush as you think they can eat in 2 miniutes. If there is leftover. remove it from the tank.

i feed my fishes twice a day with the normal fish foods available in the pet shop and also with dried worm cake...
