I just feel like I am immortal. I cannot imagine dying, ever. When i go to funerals, I look at the dead person and say to myself, "I'll never be like that." I just believe and know that I will never die. It just could not happen to someone who loves life as much as i do.
Anyway, what's your opinion? Do you think I'm crazy. My best friend says I am.

There's no way to know for sure. Maybe you'll get lucky. Have you considered having your head cut off and frozen in liquid nitrogen? Then maybe they can thaw it out in the future and put your brain in a robot or a monkey's body or something.

If you believe in eternal life and are saved by the Blood of Christ, then your right... you will never die (so to speak).
If not, sorry but unless you have a secret that no one else has, then you will die.
I think that you can compare yourself with someone who is dead because it's not someone we are too accustomed to anymore.
When our family, friends die now a days. We get them away from us and hold them at a funeral home until its time to put them in the ground or have them cremated.
We no longer have to face our dead loved ones being in our house until they get buried, etc.
Not that this is a bad change, but it makes it hard to face death.

You aren't crazy and you'd be surprised at how many people think like that or at least live like that. I have found the Bible to be an excellant resource for life and it tells us in Hebrews 9:27 that it is appointed to us to die and after that we will stand before God. Our bodies will definitely die but our soul will live somewhere forever.

"Will i really ever die?" YES. The Conqueror Worm WILL come for us all. Even I, Lord Sesshomaru, must someday meet it. NO, you are NOT "immortal", nor are you "crazy", merely young and inexperienced with the cold realities of Life and the even colder reality of Death. Live YOUR life to the utmost so that when Death comes for you, you may die PROUD.

i think that we will not always live in this life, but at the same time, i dont have concepts of "death", i call it passing on, nor do i look at people at funerals and think their life has ended,

so yes, i think the spirit is immortal, and even accept that we may return to a life here on earth at some future point, but that is not the same as thinking this particular experience will not end

I don't believe that anyone really dies... The spirit will always live on and on and you will always be remember by those around you and by that way, you continue to live in their hearts. But only the spirit will live on for we are only mere mortals with a spirit, mind and soul that will only be around on this beautiful Earth for a short while. Everyone dies but their spirits live forever and when we die we will return to God and there is where our eternal life begins...

I don't think you are crazy, i think you are a normal young person who doesn't beleive death will ever catch up to them. Do you know of anyone who has lived forever??? It doesn't matter anyway, its not a question of weather or not you are going to die, but in weather or not you are going to live your life to the fullest or waste it doing unfulfilling things.

The bible speaks about god putting eternity into our hearts. And it is very true, no one wants to die..no one who is stable anyways. The bible also brings out a"There are a new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell."2 Peter 3:13.
So you see, what you feel is normal. And we can have everlasting life..do you want to know how? "This means everlasting life, their TAKING IN KNOWLEDGE of you, the only true god, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." John 17:3.

For such an optimistic person as you , who knows, there may be an innovation , an elixer, a mystic power that will be available for you to extend your life for as long as you wish.

There are many of us like me , who have played out our innings and want to hang the bat. For us , even if such an elixer would be available we will not buy it. That does not mean that we want to die. We , simply , donot want to extend it artificially.

Do you feel like you are "alive" right now? I don't. In fact, i don't know what the hell this "life" everyone is talking about really is. So, from that point of view, no. Death will never be experienced by us.
