Finding Inexpensive rentals in South LA county?

I'm looking to find an apartment in a nice area in either Long Beach, Artesia, Cerritos, or Lakewood for, ideally, $800 a month, but I can realistically pay up to $925 for a 1 bedroom. Any suggestions?

You should not have many problems with this. Most smaller one bedrooms are right around the $1000 price. But... you will probably end up with a condo or a small apartment. Try the penny Saver or contact LB Brokerage in Belmont shores they have a great rental list and their listing agent is named Yevette. Tell her Randy in Vietnam sent you. It will blow her mind.
