Mrs. Pratibha Patil is no where near A.P.J. Abdul Kalam or any other past Presidents of India. He has been selected by UPA Government merely as a consus candidate.

Her bosses in Congress party, the UPA Govt and their allies will not allow much independence to her even if she wants to.
She shall remain a ceremonial figure and a rubber stamp.

If she can do any thing she should do some thing for the deprived in the society, for posterity to remember as a President of this country.

It's too early to tell but judging from her past performance she will be a rubber stamp president. But most importantly can she play cricket?
