I had my regular period last month and early this month i was not feeling well and I was having some symptoms that I had when I was pregnant with my son like breast getting bigger and hair loss. So a couple of days ago I took two at home prgnancy test. They both came out positive but now I am having a heavy period. Could I not really be pregnant?

Yes it is possible but most women will say its not like their "normal period". There are several reasons for bleeding in early pregnancy and its not all that uncommon. 20%-40% of women bleed in early pregnancy.

Some common reasons include
Implantation bleeding (not usually heavy but can be I had it heavy with my 4th pregnancy and thought I was miscarrying...he is 4 now)
Infection
Molar pregnancy
Ectopic Pregnancy
Miscarriage

You really should contact your doctor and have a blood draw and possibly an ultrasound to figure out why you are bleeding.

Good Luck!

Actually some women do have a period while pregnant, it's not very common but it happens. I would call and make an appt. as soon as possible to get a blood test done, and see if their are any problems going on. Best of luck!

You can still be pregnant, a lot of people I know had one or even 2 periods while pregnant. I even know a lady who had a period every month of pregnancy. but I would get to your doc asap, because bleeding is also a sign of miscarriage...

You might be pregnant. It is possible to still bleed, but not heavy. There might be too much pressure and you should go see your doctor. Of you might be having a misscarriage

it's possible to still get a period while you're pregnant, because if you took a test and it said positive it's not wrong, but if you're bleeding I'd go see your doctor asap. congratulations.
