Personality tests are many kind. Some of them are professional, some of them are made to fill the page in a women's magazine, and they are usually manufactured by a bored column writer from the third office. If you are in a fragile age and your personality is just getting shape, and especially if you let yourself guided so easily by them, please stop reading them. Let your personality bloom by itself. I'm sure you will find your balance. Personality tests can be made later in your age, if they are comming from a good source and with a proper support pack. Businesses do team building and leadership sessions where personality tests can be used. But those are different, they are made by professionals, they give proper feedback and the results are actually serving a purpose. Meanwhile I suggest you to stop reading those materials and just do whatever you like.

If you are taking personality tests online or in books or magazines, you should probably be thinking of them as an entertainment rather than a true measure of your personality. That is partly because you don't know how valid these tests are, but also because they are giving you scores in isolation of any other information about you. A psychologist uses personality tests which have been shown to be reliable and valid for the purpose they are being used. A psychologist also interprets the results of personality tests in the context of other information gathered about the individual being tested. It is not good practice to administer a test "blind." (Meaning without other knowledge of the individual.) So I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the tests you've taken on your own. Go back to being the person you want to be, not the person some test has suggested you "should" be.

No. No matter how hard they try, such tests are, at best, just a glimpse into the real you. Sometimes they can be way off or misleading. Too often such tests point one direction or its opposite, with no room for any thing else. For instance, I would rather read to a sick child than be a garbage man; that doesn't mean I would be good in dealing with such a child. It was a choice between the less desireable, but tests fail to recognize it.
If you agree with the test results, fine; otherwise, don't let it get to you. Sometimes the tests will invariably get at least part of it correct, but that doen's mean to rely solely on the test results. You are the best judge as to who you really are. Just laugh at the parts that fail to see you.

Increasingly more employers are using pre-employment personaliy tests to screen job applicants for good reasons. Some of these tests are very tricky, you'd better prepare yourself well before taking them, or you would have a big chance of failing them. The key is to find a good personality test training and simulaiton website. One good one I used befor is www.acejobtest.com. Just FYI.

Your personality will change and improve as the years pass, as you have (and resolve) new experiences. Forget the tests. You clearly wish to be a better person so of course you will be.

honestly and quite no longer. they are carried out for the sake of entertainment. they are like the horoscope which you examine which applies to honestly everyone... ever examine a horoscope beforehand you found out that it replaced into no longer on your zodiac image? those meant character checks are in accordance with generalities, no longer specifics. honestly honestly everyone have 2 eyes. All chinese language human beings talk some chinese language. All Brits talk English. Get it...? do no longer count or settle for generalities as truths or as reliabilities... they ain't! believe me, we are all so unique that there are even ameliorations in twins or maybe in our very own mirror pictures (they are an inverse of ourselves) inspite of the similarities.

no test can define who you are only you can even those around you won't be able to cause nobody will know who the real you is because we humans tend to treat people differently and approach things differently so nobody, nothing can really define who you are aside from yourself besides human behavior is so complex making it so difficult to predict and define
