Had to have PC reformated...?

Speakers not working.I have XP home,when to control panel,
thats all I did but don't see any way to get then to work.They
are part of my flat screan monitor.

You may have to re-install any drivers or .inf file for that flat screen monitor.
Did you re-load all of your drivers?

Under Control Panel, "Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices", "Change Speaker Settings" ... you may have to adjust something there.
