I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic. I give thanks daily for all the positive elements in my life. When I think of where I was before, and where I am now, it sometimes is overwhelming how different and better life is today. So yes, I think about it all the time...especially when I look at my son and think he will never see me loaded, drunk or screwed up like it use to be.
Good question, thanks.

I like to think positive, Because most people do nothing but moan, But when it comes to seeing those advertisements on television and seeing the poor hungry children with their ribs showing because they haven't eaten for days, it really hits me. Why do we moan so much when we have good food, clothes on us, a roof over our heads, nice family and friends etc. Why should we moan? We have nothing to complain over. Why do we have tantrums when we can't get a new pair of nikes or that new mobile phone you've been keeping your eye on? I think its wrong, always thinking negative brings your mood down and makes you emotionally depressed so why do it? Be happy.. and enjoy life because life is too short to always be miserable! =D Have a nice day everyone.. and keep smiling !

I'm supposed to. But sometimes I get back into my old way of thinking and think about all the negative. Which really sucks. I hate when I do that... :-/
This morning I woke up with the urge to cry and I have no idea why. The human mind is strange.

I spend time thinking about the more good times in my life in the bad because it's not good to think about all of the negative times that have happened because that isn't really worth it, you should just think about what is good because people who have a positive outlook on life tend to be happier and live longer anyhow.

I'm reading a book on that right now as a matter of fact.
I am really needing a boost in that area-I've been really down lately and I gotta get back my Spunk!
Counting my Blessing one by one! Sometimes life can be a bummer but I'm trying my best to get it turned around.

Yes. I was raised with the old saying "Count Your Blessings"
So I always start with the things that are right and good and
by the time I get to the things that are not as I would have them to be, they have paled in comparison. It helps me be
a UP person.

you're assuming too lots for this crowd. Christianity - because i'm one, there is obviously lots that appeals to me in it. How shall I %. one concern? Judaism - Their fee of coaching and their use of mysticism. Islam - Hmmm, that's a stumper...yet I shall ought to flow with their zeal. in case you could no longer say the rest approximately Muslims, you ought to confess that they are committed.

Yes, I do. I'm a firm believer in counting my blessings. But sometimes, I slip into negative thought patterns.
