What is your opinion on this?

Question

I am after some criticism here or maybe your suggestions. I've recently launched http://www.myverdict.net, a political website. I believe a number of users have come from yahoo answers and that is why I ask my question here.

Is there anything about the site that turns you off.
What would you like to see on the site.
Have you any suggestions for a better design.
What kind of things would induce you to use the site.
Is the site easy to navigate.

Please feel free to be ruthless in your answers, I will not be offended. And may I thank everybody who cares to answer in advance.

I looked at it for a few seconds because I want a quick initial impression. I'm not a big fan of the aesthetics of it. I would add more "bars" if that makes sense. You know, like the two bluish color bars on the right side that has "I have been asked to provide oversight..." and "I have examined the admin..." Having so much sitting against a white background is too boring and didn't hold my attention long enough. The content might be top notch, but if it doesn't look interesting to me, then I probably won't read much. I am a fan of "boring" and "clean" layouts; yours is just a little too bland :(

Stick with the whole blue and white theme, though. It works, with just a splash of red every now and then. No need to make it as red, white, and blue as the flag though.

Oh, and one last thing... very interesting to use Big Ben and the British Parliament on a website about democracy. If anything, use Capitol Hill.

Looks unprofessional, and alot of the text is small and difficult to read. Some more colour would be nice as well.

i only read a little and saw lots of misspelled words. which is ok i cant spell either. but otherwise i like your site i will book mark it and come back later
