I was very sad and downbeat when my dad made me leave school at 15 years old because education would be wasted on a girl. After all, I would just get married and have kids.
My dad was right, I did get married and have kids. However, in my thirties, I gave up work and went to university and got a BA hons degree - before student loans! In my 40s I studied part-time for a Post Graduate Certificate in Management. Finally, when I was 50, I graduated from Leeds University with an MA in Work Based Learning. So.... no regrets but a lot of hard work.

I wish I would have gone to college/university and tried to find a different career to what I have chosen, don't get me wrong I am happy with the way my life has been but to think I could have done more after leaving school, that's what I would have changed.

your question is a very profound one, deserving of serious reply. I find a multiplicity of thoughts in this
First all of us, make decisions based on our ability to see what is around us, and what lies ahead. And I hesitantly say that most people also made very bad decisions aware of consequences and hoped to escape them....we don't.
there is also a level of insanity that affects the human race, we make bad decisions because we get caught up in our web of our own lives, that could be honest or decietful, I think few are those who do not fall into this trap.
The answer is, (and I think it goes for them that are successfull as it is measured) yes, we all could have done more, done good and done it for right reasons.
the problem is we become petty easily...I don't offer a fix, because an honest man who loves Jesus falls into the same trap as one who says there is no God. Both share the fate of humanity to be less than what they could be...
Me, I've gotten the success's a man is suppose to have. married, divorce? yikes failed that one. Got a dog now, give me a point or a star if you will. own my home free and clear in 12 years on a 30 year note. Been to war, lived to see my home shore but I did not cheer when we landed conus as others did.
would I change anythng, yes, I would that I was miserable at home with my less than friendly wife (my current girlfriend of 14 years) I would prefer misery with her company than without it, as I love her deeply

I have a pefect life. Great friends, amazing family, fun school, and I'm confident about myself, and my body. Im pretty, and I get good grades. But everyone has something they wish they could change, and I am somebody. I missed out on the most amazing boy. And I beleive he was the one. I knew it, and I still do. But it's too late now, and I cant change time.

I'm still fairly young (21) so luckely I still have the chance to make my life fairly nice. I think though, at all ages you feel that way. Even though I havent experienced a forth of what I probably will, I still wish I could change things.

Not so much done more, but I look back and think I could have been a little more patient at times.

I would have stayed home from work with my last child. As opposed to turning her over to day care at 6 weeks old. You can pay someone to watch children. You cannot pay someone Care.

If I thought about it all, I'd do away with myself. If I could change anything it would be my secondary school - well them things so called teachers! Bullying bastards!
