He does have that "loser" feel about him these days. He was good at ND, but not great.

No. Brady Quinn will not be the new Ryan Leaf. Although he has his faults early in his carrier, ie. charging for his autograph before being retired and letting his agent convince him that holding out was a good idea. He will be not just a good but a great quarter back.
part of his criticism is that he didn't play well in big games. Has everyone forgotten the game he played against a very good USC team his junior year. Blame him for last year all you want. He spent the better part of last year on his back because of a non cohesive offensive line and still managed to put up staggering numbers against quality opponents and completely beat up non quality opponents. Show me one NFL quarterback that plays well when he is pressured day in a day out.
Manning threw a ton of INTs in the playoffs from pressure. Favre threw a lot of INTs because of pressure. David Carr's career ruined by pressure. He will have his growing pains in the NFL and then it will be like college. The game will slow down for him and his star will shine.

It's to early to tell with Quinn, but if the Browns nosedive this year Quinns gonna seem like a mistake when the Cowboys are picking Darren McFadden with the pick they traded for Quinn!

While I truly hope he will be great, years of disillusionment have made me rather negative were QBs are concerned.
Will he be Bernie Kosar or Tim Couch? Right now I lean towards Couch, but hopefully in time that will change to the Kosar side of the equation.

Well the difference is that Leaf eventually learned and is actually human now. I am not sure Quinn will EVER learn from his behavior. The Browns should stick with Frye.

I liked him coming out of Notre Dame. But he's made some stupid mistakes. He could have owned Cleveland. In a way, I hope he is a bust. His arrogance will take him down.

He's off to a glaringly bad start in my eye. But I need to see him play a whole year before I can say anything else about his potential. The NFL is a long way from college.

I think he is goin to be an average quarterback he isnt anywhere as great as they make him out to be cause if he was then notre dame wouldnt be on a 9 game losing streak in bowl play so he cant win the big one and he is on the browns so that should sum it up there.

I think so, but he'll feel right at home in Cleveland. He played for a lousy college team and now he gets to play for a lousy pro team. Btw, love your avatar.
