The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald (DVD available at Amazon.com). I would also try youtube for smaller clips.

I totally agree because the Edmund Fitzgerald is a rare boat story wise unlike Titanic which was a secret boat this Fitzgerald was a shipping boat I believe if not someone correct me but it'll be interesting movie to watch just because it's from Canada to Ohio but I didn't make it to Ohio almost there but not really

Not a movie but they did do documentaries and the Song by Gorden Light foot. One more interesting thing some where in Michigan there was a life preserver found maybe about 200 miles from where The ship had sunk.

There was a documentary on it. You know the ones where they re-enact what happened. I think it was a Discovery Channel show, but I'm not sure.

It was really very well done. Plus they played Gordon Lightfoot's song so it was poignant.

There doesn't appear to have been any major big budget movies on the topic, but there are several documentaries on the subject.
