Well we've lived together for 7 years and he's saying he doesn't love me anymore - fair enough. but he's saying he's felt like this for the past 3 or 4 years now yet he proposed a year ago!!!

what a sad situation for you...you would think that after seven years a person would have the decency to look you in the face and say it is over.....i think this person owes you a face to face....suggest you meet somewhere neutral and don't be confrontational...see if they have a heart...if not they probably were not worth your time and devotion..good luck

Find some new hobbies and immerse yourself in those. Build a new life without him and gain some self confidence and love yourself regardless of how you have been treated in the past so that you can be in the position to make good judgements in choosing your next man.

i mean if you have been dating for 7 years im sure that he has a good reason to break up with you but if he broke up with you by text then somethings up...i think you should make sure if he is breaking up with you or if he just has a problem.
either way you should ask why, whats wrong, ect.
and if it is a break up...everything happens for a reason(trust me)

NO Way.. I think you should call him and confront him.. thats just a coward way to break up with someone! Be nice and respectful... but i think you should call and make sure you're not reading more into the message.
