I don't know that I would call it a good deed but I left my boyfriend after 7 years together and found myself to be the one to get him "through" it. It felt odd enough but I would rather be the one hurt than to hurt someone else. So, I encouraged him everyday by phone to read certain bible verses and ask God to give him the opportunity to use what he learned to become more self aware and seek someone else that he can enhance a relationship to it's fullest. It was the human thing to do...to help someone who is hurting with grief.

The last good deed I performed was picking someone up who was walking in this horrible heat (102) and taking them to the store, and making sure they got to the bus stop,
Additionally, while in school, as the Team Leader, I have two new teachers on my team - and though they have taught for many years, this is a new state and city and new enviornment. I sat them down and we just 'kicked it' while I was able to answer questions, get them materials, etc they needed and help them get acclaimated.

I cleared out my storage unit and found a whole wardrobe of clothes that didn't fit anymore but were to expensive to just give to goodwill or whatever. I knew there were people at my work who just started working that would get alot of use out of them, so I gave them to one of our needy workers. I figure if I gave them to goodwill that same worker would have to pay for them by cutting out the middle man it helped me and the other person.

I made some random sandwiches and ate it with the poor. We chatted. They were really funny! I don't know why but whenever I see a street child and I don't have money to give, I silently cry.

I gave my stepson and his wife an air conditioner. He lost his job last week and the AC at their house wasn't working. They also have a 13 month old (my only grandson) and I didn't want him getting sick from the heat.

yesterday, i took my friend to the hospital and wound up walking these 2 old ladies who were hopelessly lost to where they needed to go-on the opposite side of the hospital!
