Well, since I spent most of 3rd grade out in the hall, I'd have to say "yes". She sooooo didn't like me. I corrected her math (she screwed up), and from that moment forward, I was on her list.
On the bright side, as soon as I had my work done for the day, I'd either help in the school office or the library. I was probably the only 8 year old who understood the Dewey Decimal system.

My 8th grade world history teacher.
It was so important to him that we learn how to spell quechakuzuma or quetsaltotum or some mexican god or whatever, and even tho i made A's or B's on all the tests, my final grade was a 'D".
We didn't have computer's back then so teachers could give you whatever grade they felt like.
Like I've really ever used anything he "taught" us since then..

Hate may be too strong of a word for my experience. I did have one who may have been so insecure about his knowledge that he made achieving a good grade impossible for me. He knew I had substantial knowledge and experience in the subject he was teaching.

Yes he tried to fail me in my class and I was a straight A student and he hung me and my friends upside down from the ceiling of the classroom by our ankles. It was horrible

Yes, and she hated alot of people but because she has tenure, all the complaints that get filed on her seem to go nowhere.
