whoa! statistics show may-december affairs are more successful in the case of a man who's older than the woman but when it's the other way around, the relationship may feel like heaven only for a while but the success rate is so nil.
so if that would ever happen to me, i'd keep that in mind, besides i'm 22 now so that means it's like having an affair with a ten year old boy... uh-oh! sorry, you're a baby! even if it happens 10 years from now...lol..

The older you are, the less difference it makes. I mean, a 30 year old doesn't have a whole lot in common with an 18 year old. But, a 38 and a 26 could be. Now, if you're 18 and she's 6....that's sick.

If someone 12 yrs younger than you was wanting more than friendship that would be weird cos he will be 5 years old but it would depends on lots of things but as long he was 18 and over i have no issue with it

Depends on how I felt about them. If love, (interest,) compatibility, common goals and interests are there, their age shouldn't make a difference. Should love have boundaries? Can it?
The only consideration other than these thing would be the legality of the situation. A 16 year old with a 28 year old would be bad.

Well, I can't say I'd do that coz I'm only 27 and that'd make the person younger than me completely illegal and wrong for me on so many icky levels. *ick* But if I were 12 years older, I'd possibly go with someone my current age. :-) And..it depends on what YOU want, really, not just what the other person wants. Most people aren't accepting girlfriend status whether it's wanted or not...LOL....

The person I am with is 12 years older than me. My grandparents are 14 years apart. So, a relationship can work with age differences like that. I personally don't think age matters much at all. People are so different that you could date someone your own age who is less mature than someone who is 12 years younger than you.

It would depend on what ages you are talking about. On a personal note, my husband is 10 years younger than I am.
