Oh yeah! I wanted to say it for years and years and finally had been working up the guts to say it when he said it to me! And ever since I've told him that first time "I love you", I have said it every day since then & I will continue to say it every day to him until I die!!

The fear of rejection is probably one of the all time worst fears in the world. It makes you feel unstable, unwanted, and like lesser of a person if you dont know how to handle it, However, its important in life to set goals and go after the things that will make you happy. the fear of rejection should never stop you from trying for happiness.
Now in this situation you also have to worry about losing a friend...This completely complicates thing for you. Your friends are probably some of the most important people in your life excluding you immediate family, SO noone wants to mess up a friendship. You'll have to "fish" a little and see how they take the bites. there are lots of things to think about that help determine if they would be "interested" in dating you.
1. When you're hanging out together.. is there ever random physical contact. more then a hug or something. just random contact. Touching your hand or patting your leg? This could be a sign that they are not "uninterested"
2. Do you hang out alone on a regular basis? and what kinds of things do you guys do?
3. Do you talk on the phone on a regular basis?
Keep all of these things in mind because chances are if they are interested in dating or liking you, then all three of these will be applied. These will also apply with friends in general, but as far as a relationship, these things are a must in the first stages and definately mean that there could be interest.
and if all else fails, just ask if they would freak out if they found out you liked them. being a friend they will probably be honest and not hold it against you as long as you dont act opposite from their answer.

Many many cases, yet then, i'm a lover...I fall out and in of love countless cases an afternoon. Come on now, that is real...you notice a appealing individual walking down the line....you momentarily fall in love after which you leap on back to certainty and think of...naw....it would not artwork. the certainty is this, once you're saying "i such as you" you create expectancies, the two out of your end or they, from their end. no remember which end isn't having expectancies met, somebody is going to flow residing house unhappy. hardly do 2 human beings locate adequate in one yet another that makes that form of magic for better than an on the spot....poof ...that is long previous. once you have a stable chum and a lover, that is magic...organic magic.

I think this is universal. When someone says 'i love you' just as a matter of course it becomes meaningless. When your heart is twisted around and you get those butterflies in your stomach you worry that it won't be returned it can have consequences good and bad. I feel you should really only say I love you when you honestly and truly mean it.
Going through it now. Sometimes you just have to go for it.

Saying those three words is not easy for anyone to do! Well, it isn't if you really mean it. You fear rejection... What if he doesn't say it back? What happens if I screw this up? What if... The possibilities are endless... If you do decide to tell him that you love him... I hope that things turn out ok for you.

Yeah but saying I love you is easy, its meaning it thats hard. Think hard before you say it and what are the reasons your saying it for ??? The hardest words to say to anyone are "Im in love with you", Hell, you know its serious then lol. Once you have said it theres no going back, so go with your heart and be fearless. Good luck xx

Yes, I do right now. I'm friends with this guy and I want to tell him I like him, but I'm afraid if I do and the feeling isn't mutual it would be too awkward to continue being friends.
