Great Question.
Absolutely! I've been following STS-118 from the start. Spending my weekend taking video stills with Tubo-Snap from NASA TV. I think having Barbara Morgan & Tracy Caldwell on board is terrific for the kids and education.
I'd love to do the space walks especially on this mission because they're adding more parts to the international space station.
I'l be adding tons of pics from STS-118 to my webshots album later today. check em out.

I was born in 1961. I grew up watching Walter Cronkite cover the Gemini and Apollo programs. I've been fascinated by manned spaceflight my whole life. It's been my lifelong dream to go.
However, I now have a wife and two small daughters, the youngest of whom is "special". So, I'd stay here now.

Yes and No!
Yes cause I would love to see earth from space and see exactly what they do up there and learn more about space. Also to see how they live up there.
No cause just knowing how fast you are traveling. I think the lift off part is my biggest fear and the landing part.
So just for now I will sit in my front yard and just watch them go up!

I actually love astronomy and I would like to study it, but I don't plan to go to the Universe, because I'm just to scared to do it, you have to be there for years (I would freak out without being able to swim and see my friends) and you can die, my biggest fear is to die, there is no way I would put my life in risk just because I'm curious to see what's out there. But if I was immortal and nothing could hurt me, then I would definitely go!

1. I do not think I could handle the "going-up" part.
2. Your family is very lucky to have someone who says "I love you all very much."
