It's got to be my homemade apple strudel. Well I call it strudel, but it is really apple pie that I am too lazy to put in a pie plate...I roll out the dough into a large rectangle and put it into my lazagna pan. Then I fill it with thin apple wedges tossed with sugar and 1 tblspn of corn starch, sugar and cinnamon and a touch of allspice. I like LOTS of apple so I use about 12 apples to make the filling. Then I draw up the edges to (mostly) cover the filling and bake it at 350 for about an hour.
Served warm with vanilla ice cream, it is a favourite of all seven people in this house!
