You know if you look around you will see animals of diffrent species living together in harmony. But here we are, thomo sapiens, the choosen ones, 'the smart ones', we are of the same species but cant even stand each other. Kids dying of hunger, kids and women being raped, people dying of curable diseases, but no lets worry about aliens and spend billions building space crafts neh that is more important.

you also see animals getting eaten by other animals, are they harmonious?
Aside from that, I agree, there is a lot of misery in the world and it's too bad that all the worlds problems aren't easy to fix.

have you ever watched a nature video, animals are food for each other, even bugs attack and kill other bugs and animals for food or to lay their eggs and then their 'babies' eat the host. While there are some animals that live together in harmony, it is the exception not the rule.
Evil is a choice made by evil people, so many homo-evilus would be a better sub species to direct your attention to.
As to your other concerns, if we had the money that we lose and spend on people who come to this country illegally, and the money that is wasted on useless decades old programs in Washington DC, maybe we could do something more about hunger and illness in the country and world.
And space exploration? If those are the aliens your' concerned about, I don't think that's actually an issue.
Space and resources are, learning more about the effect of the universe around us is, understanding how changes on the surface of the sun effect the weather trends on the earth is.
you can't blame homo sapiens as a group for every problem, you my dear are a homo sapien after all. What are you doing to fix things?

Alot of the suffering is there by design. I think deep inside people want misery to be seen in certain places so that others may feel lucky or kind of like the chosen ones who are so blessed since some body else is living in a desperate condition materially. But i think this strategy only works for a given period of time because people on both sides gradually become enlightened and can see through everything. Its very sad that some one must have to endure great suffering so that another may feel better. That's how advanced we are.

Yes, lions lay down with lambs and the foxes just LOVE the rabbits. Even grazing animals will chase off other species when the pickings are slim and geese can't even get along with each other. You NEVER see an animal, even of the same species, feeding another unless it's their own young. Humans are animals first and foremost...and behave better than most animals except the smallest and most timid....and they just have no one to bully.
But I'll bite...after reading your question that is based on such a ludicrous presupposition, I'll go with the latter.

You make a valid point. I don't think the human race is going to last much longer at this rate. We think we're so much better than the birds and the pigeons and we are clearly not. You're right. We are the "smart ones." However, our society has become so self-centered and egocentric that in due time we won't have much of a chance. Add to our arrogance our continual wars that are often fought over some kind of religious issue. It is extremely sad. Hopefully, somehow things will improve but I am not convinced of that.

Other animals keep in balance with nature because they have not accumulated the power and control over their environment that humans have. Glad to hear from a fellow misanthrope out there, though.

You really think it's just humans that are cruel to their own species.
Many primates indulge in group beatings, murder, rape and cannibalism.
As for hunger, that's mainly because the planet is overpopulated

good point but these ideals and out of the ordinary interests are mainly put out there to distract you from what is going on here and how it can be fixed. It won't be long before enough people get fed up and demand change.
