Over the years I have learned to accept my mistakes and learn from them. My life is much better than it was years ago and I can take responsibility for my actions. I am honest with myself, so of course this will play a big part in my being honest to others.

I accept the blame if it was my fault, but if it was an honest mistake, I explain my reasons for doing so, and admit I was wrong.

Depends how serious the mistake is. Usually I'll try to make it look fixed and wait for the next sucker to break it or explain that I didnt know better

It depends on the reasonableness of the consequences. If I have prior knowledge that I am not going to be treated reasonably then it will influence my decision.

If I believe I am going to be treated reasonably then, I would accept responsibility.

well, for me. i well accept the guilt. i try it before not to but i was caugth i was wrong, it is to shy if you deny it, then people can prove it that's it your fault. if you know that's your fault then noting wrong to say sorry, and admit to the things you ve done.

I take responsibility & feel the guilt even if something ISN'T my fault, let alone if it is!

As to why - I suppose it's just the way I am.

I am a registered nurse so therefore responsible for my actions. I would never try to shirk out of owning up for my actions.
