Because we have beem slowly conditioned through the media (TV ,music etc.) to accept things that should be unacceptabe. Most everone is desensitized to the point that nothing is shocking anymore.

So much has changed, hasn't it? I don't know how people can accept some of the things they do now.
I think the reason people put up with things is because it's easier to do that than stand on your beliefs. I am always hearing how times change and we should change with them. Why do I need to change just because others seem to care less about what is right?

i think ppl are the society if ppl do the society does and the other way around
