Once again, I can only speak for myself. I find that for me, it's easier to lose something, whether through misunderstanding, inattention, or just plain not being able to balance everything on my plate.

losing something is much easier than getting something...
losing does not take too much effort ~ just throw them or leave it behind....while getting something like dreams, love, goals ~ it takes much effort and even time.

Depends on what it is, I have no problem losing stuff (keys, money, watch, cell phone)
It's hard to lose someone you love though
