It's crude. But I'm curious to find out the answer. Has any experiments on sexual intercourse involving animals or humans been done by NASA?

I recently visited Griffith Park Observatory and read this same question in a book in the gift shop.

All it said was that no one has officially asked, and NASA isn't talking. O_o

While there have been rumors to the contrary, officailly no, its never happened (and frankly, I tend to doubt it, even if it happened without ground control knowing, since sex usually is just between 2 people, and most flights these days have 3 or more people - something like this would be hard to hide).

There is a book that talks about this, called, unsurprizingly, Sex in Space. The Space Review had a review of the book http://www.thespacereview.com/article/737/1 . In the book, the author examines the various rumors concerning sex in space

No, at least nothing official or that anyone's owned up to.
But there was a porn film which while not in outer space, did manage "weightless"

"The Uranus Project" used the astronaut-training aricraft method: "Private hired a Russian military research plane, capable of making the inside of the hull become a weightless environment, and shot several sex scenes in weightless condition."

Russia and rats, now that has been done, according to the second article.

Sure - James Bond and Dr. Holly Goodhead got it on in their shuttle after saving the planet at the end of "Moonraker." Presumably, Jaws and Dolly were bumping uglies at the time, too. We just never saw them.

Oh, you mean in real life? Then no, not that anyone has admitted to, any way.
