Ok so I am stumped. I have tickets to Giants @ Pirates for April 15, but it was rained out. So now the game is on Augest 13 in a doubleheader. And I have know idea if I have tickets to game 1 or 2 !

( See the April 14th game was also rained out so they had a doubleheader on April 15 ... but that 2 was also rained out so they schedualed the doubleheader that got rained out for Augest 13. )

So on the Pirates schedual it just say doubleheader

Game1: 5:05 ( makeup for Augest 15 )

Game 2: TBD ( makeup for Augest 15 )

Can someone please figuire out with game I have?

Here is the link to the Pirates schedual...

Since monday was a scheduled off day you will get the pleasure of going to whichever game you choose. At least that's what it looks like to me.

Espn .com has the Giants-Pirates doubleheader as a 2 for the price of 1 with game 1 starting at 5:05 and game 2 scheduled at 8:35 [tentatively] or 30 minutes after game 1 ends

Your ticket allows you to go to both games. Since the Pirates have such low attendance, they figure there will be enough empty seats to accomodate people who had tickets to either game. It's called a "single-admission" or "twi-night" doubleheader (meaning you can stay in the stadium between games), as opposed to a "split" doubleheader in which the team makes everybody leave the stadium after the first game and then re-admits the people for the second game.

The first game starts at 5:05pm and the second will start about half an hour after the first ends.

If the games are back to back then the people who pay for the first game are lucky because you can see both of the games for the price of one.But if the games are Day time Night time Doubleheader then you got to pay for both games usually one of the games are for the rain out tickets.

I would not make an assumption on which game I had tickets for. For example, if the ballpatk holds 40k people, what if all the people from the first rainout game decided to go to the first game of the double header? It would be a mess, bordering a disaster. I would call the ball park or the ticket agency where you bought the tickets from and simply ask them. That would be your safest thing to do. Have fun at the game!

Usually your rain check does not give you tickets to a specific game - it can normally be traded for tickets to any game that there are tickets available for. At least that's the way it works for both teams here in Chicago. I would call the Pirates ticket office. I doubt they are going to force you to take tickets to that game only.
