I see lots of Y!A complain about people reporting them of violations.. I don't think I have been reported for anything (then again I don't do anything wrong) but what - does someone write you a nice note saying that your a jerk off?

If you get a violation you will get the following email:

and then it shows the comment or question that you were reported on.

Yahoo Answers will send you an e-mail saying that you have been reported. The email will say this:
"You have posted content to Yahoo!Xtra Answers in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. As a result, your content has been deleted. Community Guidelines help to keep Yahoo!Xtra Answers a safe and useful community, so we appreciate your consideration of its rules."
Honestly, I think that Answers should really review the report before they confirm it. Hope this helped! : )

you will get an email from yahoo saying you violated terms of service. and most of the people who get violations didnt do anything wrong either.

an email that says VIOLATION NOTICE doesn't say why but shows which question you got a violation for.
I got one asking about others ages, but I didn't get one for guys favorite pick up lines.
I see others asking about others butts and stuff, that is more personal to me than my age.
