Saying Bad Words

2016-11-13 20:31:23 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

I wonder about that all the time. I guess it depends on what a person would call cussing. Taking the Lord's name in vain is one thing, but some words I've heard didn't have anything to do with the Lord at all. My dad cussed most of his life(not in front of kids), but I still believe if anyone made it to heaven - he did. To find out how truly generous he was throughout his lifetime(at his funeral) still baffles me to this day. He gave more away to friends and total strangers than anyone I have ever heard of. I could only hope to be as good as he was and it didn't matter whether he cussed or not. I think a person is measured and judged more for the good things they do in their lifetime than the bad.

I think it's common and impolite. Some curse words, (The hard core ones), give me a little sick feeling in my stomach. G.D. and those kind. The d word and s word don't bother me so much. I say things are a B. I've never seen that as a swear word but people are all the time saying that it is. My daughter has a cow.

Ummm, no theory. All i easily understand of it quite is the allowance of specific cuss words interior the dictionary. If a cuss/slang observe has a twin meaning, it quite is permitted. for example, *** could be defined as a donkey, and ***** could be defined as a woman canines. subsequently, motives why some observe are blanked out in songs o the radio, and a few words are not. yet quite, it quite is all i understand on the region

It's definitely bad manners and in some cases you can be sued for it - depending on the words and to whom you say them. So it is wrong, but I do still sometimes use curse words.
We can't all be right all the time.

It depends on the circumstances.

In some situations then the odd expletive is sometimes necessary.

However it is not acceptable to use them as part of normal speech, some people seem unable to hold a conversation without every 2nd or 3rd word being f---

I think it's natural to swear when you unexpectedly get hurt or someone pulls a real bone head move in traffic - when it's an instant reaction that soon fades away.

I can even accept a person who swears constantly because that's just who they are, even though it makes them sound crude, however, I don't like it when a person in authority uses it to debase an employee.

I think that it sounds bad when someone uses foul language alot. I have said them when I have gotten really angry. I don't think that it is a really bad thing but anything done in excess is bad for someone.

Nope, this is acceptable.

There are no bad words only bad listeners. Any word which properly expresses your thoughts or feelings is the perfect word to use. Sure, some people might get upset, but still believe in Lenny Bruce:

"Smut is in the mind of the beholder."
