unable to open the socket on port 161 on a Cisco Switch?

how do i disable the error message?

Enable SNMP on the switch. If it's already enabled, make sure you're using the proper authentication string for SNMP WRITE.

they should be numbered but it goes left to right then down and left to right so 1-12 on top starting from left then 13-24 on bottom from left to right. (i'm assuming its a 24 port switch but the layout is the same whichever it is)
