I wanted to work with dogs and I did not care how. Because of getting married and having kids at a young age, it did not become a career but more like a slightly profitable hobby. At least I get to do some of what I dreamed of as a kid, even if it does not pay all the bills. It makes me happy so what more could I want?

I first wanted to be a Veterinarian. I didn't become one.....not even close. I changed my mind when I got a little older when I watched the movie "All Creatures Great and Small". There was a scene where the Vet popped a dogs dislocated hip in place. It bothered me so bad, I thought, "I could never do that". So, then I decided I wanted to be an actress. After a year in college, I came to my senses and realized an actresses life was not what I wanted. So, I changed my major about 4 times, dropped out of college and became a dog groomer. I later went back to school to study Healthcare Administration and that's what I am doing now......not even close to a Veterinarian!!!

An air force ranger

I'm gonna live the life of danger

Sorry - that was all that I could think of when I saw that sentence!!

Ahhh. When I was little I really really really wanted to be a marine biologist. I actually had a dream when I was in 11th grade. A talking dolphin took me on a tour of his world and when he left me, I was sad - it was like I had lost a friend. I woke up and just knew that was what I wanted to do. And then, when I grew up and realized being a marine biologist entails a little bit more than swimming with dolphins. I majored in chem, almost minored in bio (I refused to take botany, I wanted to take a different class but they wouldn't let me). I went to grad school. I went to a school that told me they had environmental chem (figured I would help the dolphins that way). But they lied, it actually wasn't an instituted program it was just in the works. I was there, decided I would study organic chem. I hated every minute of synthesis so I switched over to mass spectrometry. I hated research - too depressing :( so I got involved with the teacher mentor program and that was when I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I apparently look young for my age - so my favorite (meant very sarcastically) question when I tell people that I teach, is "ohhh what grade". I teach college - so what grade should I respond with?? I tried 13th one time, they didn't get it.

I now teach college chemistry and try and inspire people that chemistry is all around them (you breathe right??!!) and try and make it fun.

that is substantial to direct and handbook your babies and supply them a stable beginning place, (ie; faith, finance, stable experience, and effortless experience) mixed with lots of love and cuddles. finally inspite of the undeniable fact that, they ought to make their own alternatives. My oldest sd is in college ... yet I enable her understand if she desperate to have a paper path we'd nonetheless love her the comparable. there's a great line in existence. that is substantial to love your babies, no remember what. besides the undeniable fact that, that would not continuously advise we can like what they do or do no longer do. Hummmm, comparing you to others isn't an component of what i'm speaking approximately right here. each and every individual has their own drum beat. Forcing a baby to do something or having a baby get entangled with some pastime with the incorrect reasons is likewise incorrect. finally, do no longer evaluate your baby to your self and attempt to stay vicariously by way of them. wish all this helps.

My childhood career was that I wanted to be a mommy and a wife... I did that... I love it and would not change it for anything in the world.... I adore my babies, and hubby is not too bad either!~ LOL!!!

In seriousness, being a parent is a huge responsibility and in my view, if we mommies got paid in dollar amount we would be rich... But the true reward is watching them grow into wonderful hearted little people .... Beautiful, so beautiful.....

When I was a kid I thought I was gonna be a professional baseball player for the San Diego Padres. Unfortunately one torn ACL later and I am now in LA and back in school.

Yes, so far.
I wanted to be a scientist and I am one now

But I don´t rule out a career change, if the need arises. I don´t put my job in front of my personal life.

I always said I wanted to be a BRIDE!!
And I actually remember my 6th birthday - we were poor back then, but my parents tried to make the best out of things, so my mom - for my 6th birthday went to a thrift store and bought me a old wedding dress, hemmed it up to fit me - got a veil & boquet of fake flowers & everything and that was my birthday present that year!! I absolutely LOVED that present and wore it all the time!!

It's not really considered a career being a bride ... hehe.... and it hasn't happened yet, but thanks to my WONDERFUL Jacob, it will happen!!!

Have a great day!!

I wanted to be a psychiatrist when I was growing up, but started to realize that it wasn't going to happen because I can't afford the schooling. My parents weren't able to provide anything for college, unfortunately. Besides, I also found out that you have to go to school for 8+ years for it. I guess, I just settled and wasn't confident enough in myself, sadly. Anyway, I work in accounting now, with no degree, might I add.
