I just got it on July 13th and it has captivated my attention. I use it until my neck and shoulder hurt, 'til my seat is sore, 'til I'm dog tired. Help, I'm addicted to my computer and to this site too.

Welcome to the world of cyber addiction!!! Just about every one you will encounter, whether they will admit it or not, is a cyber addict.;Thats, on-line, of course! Beware of chester m. You'll have the displeasure of meeting him if you continue to enjoy yq/a. Have fun & don't trust everyone!

Simple. Turn it off. Read a book. Go outside and play with your friends. Go to the beach. Go hiking in the mountains/forest/wilderness. Start an outdoor hobby. Volunteer at an orphanage/disabled children's home/old person's home/homeless shelter. Get a part-time job. Write poetry. Learn to dance/play an instrument. Learn an art or craft. Study. Do your homework.

Shall I go on?

Yes I have this at the moment also.

I have had it before. Simply just stop using your computer after 1 week you won't feel like using it anymore.

After a month or so without using it and then you decide to get back on it you are stumped what to do. I found myself unable to think of anything to do on the computer anymore.

Its weird but it worked.

I am however back on it due to my new job ( I struggled to find a job so I took anything)

Simply just get off the computer.

My doctor advice me, to use the computer or PC, for 2 to 3 hours a day. I think she was right, long hours on the computer can give you symptoms of radiation, vomiting, headache, hair loss, and others.

Unplug the power cord and have someone hold it ransom until youve done x amount of physical or other activity. Just go do something, the internet and pc will not go extinct if you get off of it for a while.

Find a good book

Take a long walk

Get a dog/cat

Visit a sick friend

I'm being serious and I know exactly what you mean. Don't let yourself be consumed by 1 thing...get out and enjoy life!

Now, turn off your computer! :)

don't worry, it's normal symptoms of computer addiction, every teenager has it. just get out of your computer once every 2 hours to stretch and do 10 pushups and 20 sit ups then get back on. but if you're strong like me, do 50 pushups and 100 situps, and stretch for a long time.
