if the 100dollar bill is in good shape, put in the album. protect it since you can sell the amount triple. Search for the dollar bill collectors in the internet.
I even have a 1000 1980 bill with very good condition. Just sold out last year for 5000.

In grade fine it sells for $105, $125 in extra fine and in crisp uncirculated $175. These are retail trends prices so you see it is not a very rare note. The note is not 33 years old. The dates on notes or I should say series is not the date the note was printed but the date that type note was first authorized, or when there was a signature change. You note was printed up through 1981. Old for a note is a series 1928 or earlier. Some modern star notes do command a premium some quite high. The star replaces a letter in the serial number.

Well, it's certainly worth $100, but for the number of those bills printed, I doubt it is worth much - too many already retained for collections in prime condition.

Probably not now, The year that is hot now is 1965 or younger, so if this trend continues in about 10 years it should be worth 3x the value maybe 3.5
