he is definitely one of my favorite authors. i have been reading him for 13 years, since i was 13. wow!! his "odd" series is good and not scary but you have to read them in order: "odd thomas", "forever odd", "brother odd".
the first koontz book i read was "watchers"
have you read the first frankenstein book he wrote yet? it's best if you read it first. it's called "prodigal son" then came "city of night" and the third one comes out in 2008 "dead and alive".
good luck with your reading!!!

From the nook of His Eye became into somewhat reliable and unusual. The Face became into yet another one i could no longer placed down. I, too, enjoyed the finished ordinary Thomas sequence. ordinary is such an endearing character. in case you savor memories with dogs, Watchers is somewhat reliable. The Darkest night of the three hundred and sixty 5 days is likewise relaxing. Lightning is an thrilling one with a distinctive address time shuttle. The Christopher Snow books (concern no longer something and grab the night) are reliable; Christopher Snow's humorousness jogs my memory slightly wierd Thomas. existence Expectancy became into reliable and became into specifically situations humorous. in case you like apocalyptic memories, you should savor the Taking. in case you savor horror memories, Phantoms may be the only real horror tale Dean Koontz wrote (however others have aspects of horror in them). since this would get difficult, i'm going to tell you that The Face, ordinary Thomas, Watchers and From the nook of His Eye are in all probability my favorites so some distance. each became into very unique and thrilling.

I've tried several different Koontz's books because I hear such good things about him from other people. I've never really been able to get into his stuff. I'm not sure what it is about his writing style that doesn't grab me. I certainly like his genre and the blurbs on the stories always sound good.

I have read several. One good thing to do is check the front of the current book. It will usually list his other books, as well (sometimes in chronological order). That can be helpful for deciding whether you want to read any more of them.

I read quite a few of his books and i liked some of them but sometimes he tends to go into to much detailed descriptions and that is a bit boring but all in all he's not to bad -- must say i prefer him to Stephen King for SK is writing to weird lately

Life expectancy. I don't think it's addictive. in fact, I thought it was a bit polished, would've made a better movie, relatively unbelievable.
-edit- oh yeah, that girl up there... i have heard odd thomas is real good but haven't read it

I loved his first book "Watchers" and I have read quite a few of his other books. I have not read any of his books for quite a few years now, but they were all very good.
