about a week ago in youtube i saw this asian drama called stairway to heaven. Usually im the type of cold human being who never cries to anything sad in movies.. and this time is hit me. and it hit me hard. I love korean dramas. Another one ive seen was taste sweet love, snow white.. n e ways can any one recommend me a good drama? or movie? asian culture is awesome. and so are the man with the long hair (off topic)

1) Full House (Korean drama)- My favorite drama. It is about a girl named Han-Jun (Song Hye Kyo) who meets with this arrogant actor by the name of Lee Young-Jae (Bi); they end up signing a wedding contract so that Han-Jun can get her house--"Full House"--back, since her friends, who needed money, sold it to Lee Young-Jae. A funny as well as cute drama. SHK and Bi have such good chemistry. You can see it at crunchyroll.com (but sound sucks) and mysoju.com (very good quality videos)..
2) Goong (Korean drama)-- Cute, too... a little long, 24 ep. Beautiful scenes and actors/actress wear such beautiful clothes. Typical korean drama. It is a love triangle between the prince, prince's cousin, and the girl...
3) My Girl (Korean drama)-- very funny. this girl has to pretend to be this guy's longlost cousin.... but both realize that they are falling for each other but they can't..
4) My Lovely Samsoon (Korean drama)-- This drama is very unique in that the main character--Sam-soon-- is bigger compared to other main characters in other dramas who are usually small and skinny.
5) Hana Yori Dango I and II (Japanese drama)--If you have seen the taiwanese version called Meteor Garden, this one is much more funnier... japanese dramas some how make it so funny.
6) Hana Kimi Japan version-- I have only watched up to ep. 5.. but it is really funny. it is about this girl who has to pretend a guy to get into an all guy's school to meet her idol.. very funny.
7) Winter Sonata (korean)-- this is a drama about true love. you have got to see this one. so much drama, but the actor/actress act so well and their chemistry is amazing. this series is part of the 4 seasons series (that include autumn in my heart, spring waltz, summer scent). the series are similar to each other; the saddest one is autumn in my heart. i liked winter sonata the most, since i saw it first.
8) why why love (taiwanese): this is a cute drama about a poor, hardworking girl who has to work for this rich guy... it is cute. there are 7 episodes so far with eng. sub.
9) one litre of tears (japanese): this drama is based on a true story and is about a girl who has this incurable disease in which her body will not be able to control what she does. this is a sad drama; i cried in every ep. but, it makes you really appreciate life.

2) crunchyroll.com<-- this site basically has all asian dramas, movies, and music. the video quality is not great, but this site is a good jumpboard to see what asian dramas are available.
3) onlinephim.net<-- this site has a ton of asian dramas; good quality videos.
4) veoh.com <-- this site has lots more asian dramas compared to youtube.com.

Here in the Philippines, korean dramas are a hit..I think I already watched a dozen...
METEOR GARDEN 1 and 2- love story (taiwanese)
Princess Hours-it's really cute u know...
Full House-the leading man of this series is Rain...and he's kinda popular in their country
Silence - not that touching but i think u'll like it
Jumong- still watching but u will really feel the past..
Jewel in the Palace- another korean drama which marked in the philippine television..
MOVIE:
Sassy Girl- it's really cute!! i luv dis movie...

Some are good, some are just very cheesy. You better stick to those tackling family problems rather than love stories. The only Korean Asian drama I've watched is "Jewel In The Palace". :-)

Like a lot of Asian dramas, they seem a bit repetative after a while but the general quality of acting is good for sure.

FULL HOUSE is horrible drama with Awful acting by lead characters. Anyone with sane mind do not recommend it

there's a really cute korean drama you should look into. it's called "full house"
