I am not embarrassed at all, I would be absolutely mortified if she was elected, especially with who is running now! I don't think we would ever live down the fact that a female Clinton was the first female President.
Thank goodness I am voting Republican in 08.

I would have hoped that the United States would have had a female president by now. That being said, I would not vote for Hillary Clinton because I do not think that she is the best person for the job and because I do not like what she has done in the past or what she has done to get elected in New York. I'm going to pick my candidate based on track record and ability and not based only on gender. Thankfully I do not follow party lines because I am registered as an independent.

No not at all... Im surely not against one. But its more important that the president is a good one not that they are a female or not.
Do people from other countries feel embarrassed they didnt have a man good enough to run that a woman had to?

this country is ready for a female president, just not one with the clinton..."legacy" baggage. the idea that somehow she didnt know or wasnt a willing participant is simply ridiculous or in other words, more liberal pap.
- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

US people have a lot of other things to feel embarrassed about!!! Today US has no worthy presidential candidate but BURT SIMPSON...THE ONLY REASONABLE AMERICAN!
with Burt simpson we could have wonderful 8 years of fun and joy...we would make the whole world without a need to destroy the whole globe...we would make silly phone calls to other presidents but never kill their citizens!
Vote Burt Simpson 2016

Not at all, and as soon as a qualified female candidate that is fit to hold the office and is the best person for the job runs, I'll vote for her. As for the closet Socialist career politician running in the front of the Democratic ticket, not a chance. She doesn't fit the description I listed in any way. I won't vote for her just because she's a woman particularly, that's stupid.

I think it is more factual that women are not ready yet to not vote for a woman. Women are extremely pressured over the guilt they will feel for not voting for Hillary Clinton because she just isn't qualified. Actually this may be the only election where a woman candidate will get the women's vote solely based on the fact she is woman.

Americans will elect a female President when the right one comes along...right now they will not elect a socialist lesbian as our Commander in Chief.

Nope. If the roll call of losers that have been presented by the Democratic Party is the best we have to offer, I'm not embarrassed one single bit. As a matter of fact, I'm proud of the fact that we were smart enough not to elect any of those morons.

I'd be much more embarrassed to place a female into office who is NOT qualified and plans on turning us into a Nanny State. No thanks.
Qualifications are what matter, and nothing else. Race and gender should not matter.
