The theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey - "Also Sprach Zarathustra" - is pretty inspiring but it's pretty hard to whistle!
Much easier is "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" (from Monty Python's Life Of Brian), which actually has whistling and is a great song when you're feeling cynical about life.

Growing up, I always knew when my good childhood friend Ed was in a melancholy mood or was troubled by something because he would be singing "Roll On, Mississippi" by Charley Pride to himself. That carried into his adulthood, and as a result, every time I hear the song, I find comfort in it from whatever is ailing me at the time. (I also think of Ed, with whom I haven't spoken in years.)
I'm a very serious record collector, so there are many, many songs that have this effect on me. Lots of them are classic country or classic R&B. That direction, anyway. Other material that really seems to cause my blood to pump is Enya's music for some reason.
For a good "whistling" tune, check out the theme to "The Bridge On The River Kwai." It was done by Percy Faith and his orchestra, and I wish I could think of the title off-hand. It has the word "March" in it.
Other classic instrumentals from years gone by include Theme From A Summer Place, (also Percy Faith,) Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White by Perez Prado, The Hustle by Van McCoy, (MONSTER hit in the '70s,) Apache by Jordan Ingmann and Ferrante and Teicher's recording of Sleigh Ride. (That's the one you hear in the background somewhere every Christmas.)
Hope this helps.
