The government is a combination of corrupt liberals and conservatives. The government is not and never has been the province of conservatives.

It never works for the common people when a Republican Led White House is in power, on the other hand it always works for the rich and Corporate America when they squeeze middle and lower America into poverty. Results from Nixon, Ford, Reagan/Bush, Bush, Bush. Bill Clinton was the only President to tell the truth about the economy, since John F. Kennedy and prior to that FDR. Americas infrastructure is in shambles now because of the Bush Administrations budget cuts for the Bush war for oil in Iraq. We need to reopen the Suez Canal so oil shipments around the World aren't so costly, but Israel has it closed up to drive the costs even higher with the Middle East conflict. The super oil tankers that spill oil and cause the environment to collapse over pollution of the oceans is getting worse with the size of the tankers. Deregulation has caused the employers to discriminate the American work force back to the era of the 1900. Republicans don't do Americans any favors that is for sure.

Please...
Conservatives will just blame it all on the failure of liberals every bit as much as liberals will blame it on conservatives.
Learn to think differently. "Outside the box" if you must.
Stop trying to find reasons why others are wrong and you're right. Find reasons why you are wrong and They are right.
We all want our politicians to do what we, as individuals, want. Of course, we can't agree on what that is even in a 2/3 majority. Our politicians lie because they have to to get elected. Our government fails because we can't agree on what is best for the nation simply because we allow ourselves to be slaves to our biases.
Go ahead: Choose between defense spending and public education. Well, is it secular or religious education? Why does it matter? Or how about health care? If everyone could have it and we had to pay higher taxes is it worth it to save a life? Welfare? Should we leave it as it is so that it doesn't cover all who need it but can be easily exploited by those who don't?
We worry too much about liberal or conservative; Democrats and Republicans and silly little third parties that are just footnotes. We try too hard to be right and blame others for the wrong.
We never really look at the issues as they apply to everyone. Just ourselves. Just our ideas. Just what we think is right. We are all, somehow, that bloody smart but still manage to get just about everything wrong.
When we can all do that, when we can stop trying to blame each other and take responsibility for our own faults, we might stumble upon the concept of an effective government.

They just got to greedy. America was naive for voting in a Republican majority after getting a taste of their agenda during the Clinton administration.
Personally, I blame Ohio for 2004.

our government my eye...the pelosi/reid regime is in charge and not only are nancy pelosi and conservatives not on the same field..theyre not in the same ballpark. you have a bunch of out of control liberals who rose to power by selling the american public a bill of goods thinking there is some type of quick fix or magic pill to al qaeda and iraq. when they couldnt deliver they blamed in on bush and here we are. the amount of grandstanding and posturing for special interest by pelosi/reid is patently absurd. this has nothing whatsoever to do with conservatives. its liberal pap in action at its textbook finest.(sic).

Here's why we're all poor
To date I have yet to hear one Con attempt to refute the L Curve.... usually they'll either avoid it altogether or in child like frustration go off into a anti-Clinton temper tantrum
