i agree shaftson university is not a university - it is a private school for out of country students - mostly from asian countries. Many schools provide a diploma in hospitality management in brisbane.
if you want to work then you must obtain a student working visa BEFORE you enter australia. part time jobs could be in the service industries such as restaurant, bartender - it helps if you have experience & can bring proof of such experience with you.
southbank campus apts provides furnished apts for overseas students. there are others as well.
if you do not arrange a place to live before coming to brisbane, then join the yha and stay at a hostel until you sort yourself out - the bulletin boards at the schools all have students advertising for room mates.
for p/t work check out the website - our brisbane

I hate to tell you this but Shafston is not a university. It is, at best, a Technical College. The Brisbane Universities are The University of Queensland, Griffith University and the Queensland University of Technology. Other universities in Queensland are James Cook, Bond, Central Queensland, Southern Cross, Southern Queensland, Sunshine Coast and the Australian Catholic University. Shafston isn't on the list.

i think of if somebody needs to commit suicide, that's their selection and others could admire that guy or woman's determination. although, you're youthful, and that i think of you may wait till you're a minimum of 25 to work out if consistent with risk you in basic terms had a coarse babies, and that it would get greater advantageous. attempt to make some acquaintances and do issues you delight in, see a therapist in case you may. you may make a extensive distinction in this international it rather is unreasonable and unfairly cruel once you boost purely a sprint older, and ending your life now could destroy that. in case you have tried all you may by the time you're an grownup, and you're nevertheless as melancholy as you have been, then pass forward and pull the set off. i've got been suicidal, and that i understand the way it feels, yet I additionally realize it may get plenty greater advantageous. If it does not (back, once you're an grownup!) and in case you somewhat desire to end each little thing, it rather is you're very own selection. in basic terms attempt your terrific to look on the severe element, and keep in mind that your teenage years will bypass. And in case you agree on suicide is your purely selection, all and sundry will keep in mind you. :)
