I thought the same thing when I was a teenager. All I wanted to do was becoming a successful corporate lawyer Yeah, I could say I was born to become one, but reality pitched in along the way and my whole perspective in life changed.

I married young and I wasn't really prepared for it. We made some mistakes along the way. However, I swear the most magical moment in my life was the time the nurse put my little angel in my arms...she changed my whole life...

I worked hard to provide for her and harder to give her some family stability...but I forgot that the most important thing for her was not having mommy being a super corporate woman, but to give her some attention...she never complained.
I found out her sadness, when we moved to Europe and I found her diary...she has wrote ...Mommy is never home.

I dropped everything and stayed with her and her little sis for about three years. I miss my job, my emotional support...is hard...but I see them and they light up my life...

I'm not the classical mom..in fact I look like my daughter's older sis. I follow teens trends, without being ridiculous.

My life with them are not meaningless...it has a purpose..LOVE!!!

You look very funds oriented. that is effective, no longer something incorrect with that, yet attempt to understand that that is extremely not the way maximum persons artwork. funds is obviously a element in each and every determination, yet for many persons there are issues extra substantial than funds and investment - that is love and procreation. that's a primal urge, we are all animals on the top of the day and it extremely is what we've been placed on earth to do. On a extra own foundation, human beings % to have babies because of the fact they yearn to nurture and carry a kinfolk and adventure that spectacular bond of parental love, and could be keen to die for that individual over and over back - so extremely speaking in terms of financial drawback isn't all that proper. only bear in mind, devoid of procreation there could be no funds, no inventory markets, no investments, and devoid of procreation you won't be right here acceptable now asking this question. that isn't any longer for everybody besides the undeniable fact that it facilitates to objective and comprehend it.

Procreation is God's will. It's tough on us parents at times, but the outcome can be wonderful. My girls were brought up as Christians, but one underwent an abortion at 18, and used to lie through her teeth! Today, like her sister, she can't do enough loving things for her
86-y-o Dad, so not much of the teaching was wasted. Don't loose heart - all will be well if you keep working at it, and ask God to help you.

Here's the reason:

My Grandma was killed by a reckless driver. At his pre-trial hearing, there was a whole family of people there to support the prosecution, but the guy who killed my grandmother was there all by himself with no one to support him. What was the difference? My grandmother had 3 children who had many children of their own, but this older man had no children at all.

You see, when you get older, all of your grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles will probably die before you. That leaves you with very little family to support you or to see that justice is done in your name if something bad happens. Having children makes it much more likely that you will be happy and well cared for when you become a senior citizen.

I think that a lot of people have the urge to procreate, because it keeps the species going. Perhaps it sounds simplistic, but the urge to have offspring does serve a biological purpose.

sweetheart, you havent been loved until you,ve had children, and despite what anyone here says, it is the most important and amazing thing to ever happen to you, and ill put this to you , whats the point of growing up and having no one to share your life with you, to grow old with no one there to love you and look after you.

Keeping our species alive. And having potentially massive bank-accounts to fund future vacations. And having free maid-service!

God gives us kids as a punishment for how we treated our parents.
