I believe it is because you have insurance and your afraid your medical care will go down. Your in the minority because the majority of us do not have good health care or coverage and your party mocks us. I know everyone cannot be rich, but I believe everyone needs health care. All I hear from the Republicans is keep the rich rich and make the poor more poor. I do not care if you answer!

Hmm, well if the majority have insurance, why are there report after report about the millions of us who do not. I have a good job thank you, problem is, I cannot afford the insurance. I do not care that you do not want health care, as you do not care that we don't have it. Your in the minority because there are more Americans that do not have proper health care then do. That includes the Americans that live pay check to pay check. fyi, most Americans live one pay check from poverty, their the ones that build your houses, keep your streets clean, etc. We can afford to give the China government 100 billion dollars for public relations, "don by President Ronald Reagan"
and the Republicans has no comment but mention universal health insurance and they say I do not want to pay. That is why I do not think the Republicans have Americas best interest at heart!

It all comes back to one thing, the almighty dollar.
You say, its not right to have universal health care because I pay more then you do. I am sorry you do not like my view, but your wrong, it will work. If we have a universal health insurance program, kind of like what companies have now, government pays most of it and citizen pays part, goes by income. Higher taxes ok, by income. I am sorry, if you make 1/2 million a year and live in a million dollar home I do not feel sorry for you if you have to give up 1/2 your income and maybe you cannot afford to buy that expensive boat or spend 10,000.00 at Christmas. It is wrong for you to say I don't care if you have medical care, I just want to keep my medical care where it is and sorry about your luck. I say when it passes and becomes fact, pack your bags and go to where its to your liking, which is where? People say the doctors will leave and go to other countries, let them go, they will be back cause there is no where for them to go

HAHAHAHA What you are really saying is if we all have equal health care, your afraid your health
your care will go down and you might have to wait with the rest of us. That would make it equal. That would make it so people would not have to decide, do I put food in the house, or pay for health insurance. The reason I do not care if you answer is I already know the truth, The republicans and people who have health insurance that can afford it that is do not want change because they are affraid it will lower their health care standards and they do not care about the millions of people that do not have. That what it is, the haves and the have nots. It is a stereotype, if you do not have insurance it is because you do not want it, if your underemployed, its cause u want to be, if your homeless, its because u want to be, and if u go to a free clinic, your a drug addict. come on pal GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!

I am against it on two grounds 1) Our government is notorious for mismanagement of money and programs. If medicine were socialized or government would make decisions I am not comfortable with them having. 2) If we have socialized medicine we would have almost no recourse in malpractice or malfeasance.

You can't afford health insurance? That is wrong! You just don't want to. If you are making car payments that money could have gone to medical insurance. The truth is you do not see it as being important enough to budget for it as many don't. A dollar a day in the bank will cover the medical expenses of most between 18 and 40, if you simply purchase a catastrophic insurance plan to cover in the event of an accident you will find it is affordable and your needs will be met.

Democrats will never have more intelligence then a Republican? Since when does political party have anything to do w/ background, schooling, IQ, I know quite a few republicans who are idiots. Like the ones that voted for bush's 2nd term, like the ones against abortion, or for prayer in school. And a fourth of our population is without healthcare, but we can send money to rebuild other countries and save african children, and we can pay for welfare pumpers to pop out more kids for a bigger check, but we cant take care of the people really busting butt and still struggling here.
Whoever said get a job is a moron, you cant get a decent job without a bachelors degree, you cant get a degree without college, you cant go to college when you were raised under the poverty line unless your a minority and get a grant or join the army, I work over 60 hours a week and cant afford healthcare, but the mexicans that just jumped the fence get medicare, welfare, (And that problem is the bleeding heart's fault)
Universal welfare wouldnt work, it would just start a class war, or be spread so thin you'd have better luck fixing your rotted teeth w/ a drill. The rich wont stand for being excluded, the people on welfare wont stand for income requirements to get it, it would be great temporarily but then our government would PC it to death and people who cant see the big picture would run it into the ground.
Are you just now realizing this is a capitalist country?

PS guy above me, lot more cheaper? Who's retarded?

The reason you don't car about answers is because if someone answers what you spued out it will make you look like a idiot ! So how can I resist. OK can you show me one example of universal health care plan that has ever worked for any country? The answer is no. When you compare the death rate of Country's that have UHC to that of Americas Health car death rate It's not even close .The more populated areas make UHC get even worse Most life or death operations are needed with in weeks That can't happen with UHC also the Country's that still use UHC don't have the famous Lawsuit rate the Liberals use so much .That alone would make it a disaster and last .Health care is not cheap but it is obtainable for middle class Americans unless you are Lazy and don't work but then you can hardly complain If the Liberals would stop all the care they give to illegal immigrants that are literally shutting down Hospitals one by one health care would be a lot more cheaper .But Liberals like to protect illegal immigrants just like they protect Terrorist

Universal health care has its bad points but I guess that in the final tally it would be better for most Americans who do not have the money to pay for health insurance policies. The quality of health care could go down because doctors would no longer be on their own and their attitude might be different than if they were their own bosses. Also it could result in less men and women going to medical school (very difficult studying medicine) because the end result would not be what they want.......money. They would be working for the government and this would limit their potential for earning and building a business of their own. Ask yourself the question....would you be willing to spend eight years in college learning medicine (very tough study) to become a government employee? Some would but many wouldn't and we would potentially lose very fine doctors.

Because a lot of people here think it has to do with communism, and that universal healthcare would somehow lead us all into a Stalinist gulag. Give me a break. America already has other kinds of fundamental services that are essentially socialized and for the most part they work well: Fire departments, police departments, and the post office, in particular. You don't see republicans privatizing those. And even ultra-conservatives in other places like Canada and Europe wouldn't dream of dismantling their universal health care system, they would never even get into office if they mentioned wanting to do such a thing. I recommend everybody watch the documentary SICKO, by Michael Moore. There was one guy in it who was a self-employed carpenter who couldn't afford his own health insurance. One day, he accidentally severed two of his fingers on a table saw and had to go to the emergency room. The doctors told him they could reattach both fingers - his middle finger would cost $60,000 and his ring finger $12,000. The poor guy could only afford to reattach his ring finger, so his other finger just got thrown in the garbage. Real nice. Then it shows another carpenter in England who accidentally sawed off half his hand and the surgeons reattached it all for FREE, and you could see in the movie that they did a great job and all his reattached fingers were working perfectly.

And then the movie shows the most ridiculous reasons U.S. health insurance companies find for denying patients coverage. One woman got cancer and then her insurance company cancelled her policy because, get this - she once had a simple yeast infection in the past and didn't report it on her application. And another woman was in a serious car accident and had to go to the hospital. Her insurance didn't pay for the ambulance ride because it wasn't "preapproved". When the hell was she supposed to call her insurance agent, when she was unconscious and being pried out of her smashed car? So even when you have health insurance, there's no guarantee it's going to help you because insurance companies make more money when they come up with ways not to serve their customers when they actually need them. Our system is absolutely BARBARIC by comparison. Maybe the free health care in other countries isn't quite perfect, but any idiot can see it's got to be better than not getting treated at all. People in the U.S. just need to realize that health care is a human issue, and not something that's liberal, conservative, democrat, republican, socialist, communist, or what have you.

because this country doesnt want or need hillary clinton socialism. im far from rich but im sick and tired of paying more and higher taxes for failed tax and spend schemes from out of control liberals. the idea here is give me more control over my financial health and less confiscatory taxes and i can take care of my family quite well. the government cant manage their own affairs. how in gods name shall they manage mine. the idea that somehow they can solve health insurance ills when the liberal pap from billary showed they cant is ridiculous.;

When the government gets mixed up in telling private businesses how to run, we are one step closer to the Socialism the ACLU and Left would love to see take over this country.

There is a problem in the world and it is not the fact that some people are rich. The problem is that so many people have been enticed to feed at the teat of government that we have entire classes of people who have no ability to take care of themselves and they have no desire or motivation to do so. Europe has been this way for a while as Socialism becomes more and more pronounced and people pay more in taxes to feed the insatiable appetite of those who have become addicted to hand outs from their friendly elected officials.

The US is well on the way to socialsim, thanks to past Democratic administrations that fostered the environment of welfare and bred classes of people unable to fend for or take care of themselves.
Democrats however, are the ones who live their lives to tax the wealthy and then pass that money out among the serfs who have become indentured to the left.

As you will notice, that is money from everyone except the dem politicians own money, they do not include that into taking away from the rich, they feel they should not be included, and dipping into their millions.

We need fewer taxes and we need government to let business run without interference. This is how an economy will grow and how people can become wealthier. It is time to scrap the government and start fresh, a do over, if you will.

We can change government by getting rid of every incumbent in 2008. Vote them all out of office and start over.

i am not republican, NOR would i EVER again consider myself a democrat. the democrap party is NO longer the working man's party... it is now the party of degenerate losers.

i am LOW middle class... i wish health coverage for my wife and six kids was a hell of a lot cheaper than what it is.

the reason it is not cheaper is because of some stupid mistakes by doctors and technicians; MOSTLY it is expensive because of FRIVOLOUS lawsuits by freeloaders... and the liberal judges in this country allow the asinine accusations of these freeloaders and their ambulance chasing attorneys.

socializing medical care in the U.S. will make things worse, not better.

if there is ANYTHING left of what i pay into SOCIAL INsecurity Insurance after i 'retire' then i WILL take it!!!!!

Of course, the SOCIAL program for 'retirement' is already $75 TRILLION in arrears.... there is already NOTHING left of THAT Socialist program. And yous want ANOTHER Socialist program? Then we will be right back in the Dark Ages, practicing blood letting for fevers, etc., and the Nation will be sucked dry by Socialism.

this manner of in a well mannered way phrased question... i'm unsure i'm no longer able to tell you till I knew them in my opinion it form of feels that the republicans desire to combat something that would not save us in a warfare someplace in the international. we would desire to continually be spending much less funds on ammo and extra funds on looking after our human beings. If cuba can do it i think of we are able to locate the money whether we would desire to dig in the settee cushions to furnish well being look after human beings.
