I need a nice thank you message for someone...(an elderly neighbour) for her giving me a double bed frame she no longer wanted and that i needed. some times a verbal thank you just isn't enough.

Most of what you wrote in this question if written in a nice card will say it all! Just write thank you and add everything after (an elderly neighbor).

Just get her a card that says a simple thank you on the front with the blank in the middle and write in it " Just wanted to say Thank you for being so generous to give me your double bed frame, it was something I really needed, very much appreciated.

A nice card saying thank you and a bunch of flowers maybe?? Or a plant - that lasts much longer.
