if you check the kind off magazines you get in your daily post about bargain deals you'll conveniently find xp computer deals at cheap prices because these stupid businessmen think xp is now outdated by vista.

However I advise going to a good computer shop, like asking if you can buy a computer but not take the vista package but take the xp package instead.

btw I don't blame you, I myself am getting a new pc with xp, all the peaople I know who got vista are saying xp is much better, including computer studies teacher, some of my best freinds, and one of my dad's pals who incidently works as a computer programmer.

Hope this answer serves as reference for you.

go to this web site: www.CDW.com
they pretty much carry any type computer you want, desktop or laptop, lots with XP. I've ordered 2 in the last week for customers one was a acer & one a Lenova both XP pro.
Just call the people tell them what you need the computer to do and they will tell what they have in stock & the price. usually takes 4-5 days for delivery.

Pretty much so. As of January 1, 2008 Microsoft will no longer supply XP to computer manufacturers.

Dell outlet does not list one XP computer.

TigerDirect has some refurbished Gateway computers with XP media Center.

Ebay lists some

Very few new computers are available with XP and those that are are old stock/models that is obsolete and is not worth considering.

I always advise against buying from a department or electronics store because you always have to buy the whole package of software that contains a lot of crap you dont need. I suggest have Gateway build you one with your specs. I use gateways and have not had any problems with the last three as I have with HP. Use the extra money for memory, larger hard drive and whatever else you might NEED not what they want you to have

try and have a custom computer made for your needs, whether a laptop or desktop.. it'll mean much more to you than one you just bought off the shelf...
