@ socialdad.
you are proof that anti-Ron Paul people have no idea what they are talking about.
Do you know why Ron Paul said that? That very fact comes from the report from the 9/11 commision's investigation. That report comes STRAIGHT FROM THE WHITE HOUSE BUDDY. Maybe you should do a little more research.
Ron Paul movement numbers are swelling, and there is nothing that people who would want to censor us can do to stop it. All we want to do is get the truth out, and if the truth does get out, this man will win it all. Most of the Anti-Ron Paul comments I see here on Yahoo Answers can be thoroughly debunked by me and my community in probably under 30 seconds flat.
All I ask is that people get educated about policies and about things of that nature before they continue to comment on things that they can't grasp and/or have utterly no idea what they are talking about.
Ron Paul 2008.
@ the 2nd poster
Once again, someone who has no idea what they are talking about. Do you know that income tax is unconstitutional and unlawful? Go look it up. And how unrealistic is removing the IRS? Once the government stops exhorbitantly spending, the IRS isn't even needed. This will only hurt the military industrial complex, like Ron Paul has said numerous times before.
And about the gold standard, again you have no idea what you are talking about. Let me give you an example.
You have a 10 dollar bill. Let's say for all intensive purposes, the government seeks to print out 3,000,000,000,000 dollars in money, theoretically. Do you know what the buying power of your 10 dollar bill is? probably somewhere a long the lines of 2 or less dollars now. The American dollar represents directly how much printed money exists. The government does not generate money, but merely prints out money to cover all it's debts. This plainly means inflation and recession if that trend keeps up. Going by the gold standard (of course a redesigned one), the government couldn't just print money willy-nilly when they wanted to like it was monopoly money.
Anything you guys have said, or will say, HAS BEEN DEBUNKED by most people. Please open your eyes. Send me a message if you have to. I have converted hard core Giuliani/Romney/Hillary/Obama fans into Ron Paul Supporters. And people wonder why this guy has such a large following.

I'm as liberal as they come and yet for the first time, I'm listening to what a Republican has to say. I like most of his ideas, esp. the ones on foreign policy, monetary policy and the constitutional law. However, his idea of healthcare will be hard to sell to the American people, although he makes valid points about it. So, let's wait and see. I hope he becomes the GOP nominee, and Obama the Dem's nominee so we can have a real debate.

I think that he is pretty much trying to raise awareness of the constitution. I'm pretty sure he knows that it is near impossible to win the election on the Republican ticket, or even win the Republican nomination. Some things I think that are unrealistic of him are his thoughts of removing the IRS and all income tax, going back to the gold standard, and immediately withdrawing from Iraq. I do give him credit for not voting for the war in Iraq, and standing up to the masses in the debate in the South.

My opinion is if he wouldnt have went into a rave about 9/11 being the fault of the USA he might have had a chance.
He wont get the primary vote. Which leaves him running as an independant perhaps which wont get him anywhere.
