There's always one idiot who has to bring up the Yankees schedule. The Yankees played 30 games against teams that were under .500, so what? Aren't they the same teams everyone else in the AL is playing? I guess Boston is only playing against the really good teams.

I have still been here every day and usually more than once a day. I have no reason to hide. I love my team and still support the 1st place Red Sox. If you cared enough to check, I have never agreed that the Sox would blow the Yankees away, I have never said that they have the division in the bag. All you would see is my hope that they do and I still believe that they will win the division. I have always said that the Yankees werent done until the fat lady sings and I havent heard her yet. True fans dont rub it in others faces. They are just greatful for their team and hope for the best.

Ok, I am out, a big Sox fan here. I am glad the yanks are finally giving the sox competition. It will only hone the sox skills for the playoffs. At least this way they will play better and provide a better product for viewing in the new york area for the yanks to watch the playoffs. The last I looked we were still in first place 5 games ahead of the yanks and a winning percentage of .600. By the way that also happens to be the best record in baseball!!!!!!

As some have said, and as I've said before, Yankee fans are absolutely the worst in baseball. And you, my friend, are a hypocrite. I noticed when the Yankees started to lose a few games and fall a few back in the standings, Yankee fans had also disappeared. Why are there so many 'Yankee Haters'? Not because of the team, but much more because of typical arrogant, obnoxious overly spoiled fans like you. That unattractive New York personality is a major turn off to most people.

I realize the Red Sox are still in first place, 5 game lead but they once had a double digit lead & it is fading. So only time will tell where each will finish in the division

Sorry, I've mostly been in Polls & Surveys. And even if the Red Sox hit a little skid here, it's okay, because I'll stay true to them no matter what <3

I dislike -but respect - the Yankees because I'm a Red Sox fan and the Yanks are our rival. I hate the Yankees because of obnoxious, ignorant, and small minded people like you who claim to be fans. Why do you have to dump on other teams to show what a true "fan" you are of your team?

You Yankee fans (for the most part) are the worst in baseball. All you guys do is complain and complain. During all of these wins and losses how many of those wins were against quality teams????? Last 2 months you played Kansas City 6 times for 6 wins, Tampa Bay 8 times for 6 wins, White Sox 3 for 2 wins, Toronto 7 times for 5 wins, and Baltimore 3 times for 1 win.....Let's not get carried away about the Yankees because they beat some bad teams a bunch of times....1 win vs. Cleveland means nothing.

I see your still here Jeter lover.
I am sure they are no more hiding than you are in the closet.
I don't like the Sox either but they are still in first place. The Yankees will get the smack down from the Angels too. They are equal opportunity. Boston recently beat Cleveland 3 out of 4 games. So c'mon!
I like the Yankees but it's people like you who make me change my mind sometimes.

The Red Sox were great in April weren't they? Not so good now that it matters!
