Hi. How many of you are tired of hearing the same boring songs on these classic rock stations? I sometimes think if I hear one more Pink Floyd, Who, or Zepplin song, I'm going to scream!

Mine plays a lot of different bands, but they seem to only have the rights to play three or four of their songs.

Queen is always We Will Rock You, We are the Champions, Another One Bites the Dust, and Bohemian Rhapsody. Fat Bottomed Girls on occasion.

The Who is Behind Blue Eyes, Who Are You, and Baba O'Riley (excuse me if I screwed the spelling!).

Kansas gets Dust in the Wind and Carry On My Wayward Son.

I think the only band that gets a decent variety is Lynyrd Skynyrd. Maybe it's because I live in Mississippi or something.

Tell you what I'll do for you. Next request night, I'm going to send in a request for the Whiskey Bar song by The Doors (don't know the name... Alabama Song?). I'll see how they react.

Me too, but the thing is, they just play the same 5 Floyd, Zeppelin, Stones, Who, Doors and Van Halen songs. They never go deeper into those artists' work. Like Floyd, they always play just the stuff off WYWH, Dark Side and the wall and never off Ummagumma or Meddle, so people don't even know a whole side of the band.

Find the college stations on FM. I agree, tired of hearing the same stuff after 30+ years.

I've been sick of mainstream radio for years. I only listen to talk radio or NPR.
